Microsoft AutoRoute provides fast and simple driving directions whether you're planning a short trip or travelling across the Continent. Enter the address you're leaving from and where you're going to and Microsoft AutoRoute will do the rest, giving you point-to-point maps and driving directions.
Microsoft AutoRoute delivers the highest quality, most up-to-date maps available in Europe. It covers 2.4 million miles (3.9 million kilometres) of streets in 13 Western European countries - Great Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden and Portugal.
Microsoft AutoRoute uses the latest mapping information to plan your journey and work out the best route. It also points out over 400,000 places of interest and highlights restaurants, hotels, petrol stations, theatres and service stations which you can simply add to your route. You can even choose your preferred roads to create the best route for you.
Your results can be printed out, turned into web pages or downloaded onto your Pocket PC. If you have a NMEA 2.0 compatible Global Positioning System receiver, you can find your exact location anywhere around Europe. Just plug it into your laptop with AutoRoute 2005 running.
